A severely underrated mecha anime. A group named "Orphan" is trying to raise a giant ancient ship out of the deep sea to progress humanity, while another group is trying to stop the project to save the earth from being destroyed in the process.
Often only mentioned as "Yoshiyuki Tomino's take on Evangelion", I think this series deserves way more recognition rather than it being stuck in a shadow.
An alternate take on the end of Devilman. This amazingly animated gore-filled emotional ride is a must see for anyone thats a fan of anything Go Nagai.
While short and a bit oddly paced, this is the definitonal 1980s action OVA. Beautiful animation, amazing gore, stupid over the top attack, Hirohiko Araki's first anime adaptation before is a fantastic piece of anime. Highly recommend especially if you're a fan of JJBA.
