Mobile Suit Gundam is an anime franchise that started in 1979. Created by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the series spans multiple decades with each entry giving a new spin on the Gundam formula. Its influence cannot be understated with it changing the mecha genre forever after the release of the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

Around Summer of 2023 I saw people posting on Tumblr about Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury around when it was ending and about how gay it was. So I was interesteddd :3

It took me a bit to fully get into it (am bad at starting shows) but once I did I loved it! Though this wasnt the thing that pushed me into full Gundam brainrot.
After watching GWitch I didnt touch any other Gundam series for a bit. I tried to watch Wing, but again bad at actually starting junk DX. I didn't really touch Gundam again until rewatching GWitch with my (then-soon-to-be) girlfriend :3 We watched both seasons within two days and she loved it! This is when I think it started to creep in X3. After that I decided I wanted to try out a thing I had seen called Gunpla! I bought a high-grade kit of Aerial and had a lot of fun building! My girlfriend and I, now both having interest in Gundam, decided to start watching the original series soon after and then thats where full brainrot set in :3
